NEW PURCHASE OF THE WEEK!

One day this week I forgot to bring my portable coffee mug with me from home. I realized it when I was a few blocks away from my job with a little extra time to spare so I stopped at Target. It's my top goto store for many quick buys of things used by members in my household. 

My first high-quality portable coffee mug I bought is an Aladdin brand purchased from Target. It's stainless steel, pink and holds up to 16 ounces of liquid, hot or cold. I've been using it regularly for almost two years and am overall happy with it. The only problem is that it isn't completely fool spill proof. I've accidentally knocked it over on my desk a few times and had to wipe up very small spills. Certainly, it wasn't made to be knocked over without at least a drop of coffee sifting through the tightly screwed top, right? Of course not because I've proven this. It has sustained its intended purpose even though I've dropped it on the ground a couple of times with only small scrapes and no dents surprisingly. There's something great about stainless steel! 

Will I ever purchase another Aladdin brand? Probably, but I can't say I'll be loyal.

The new mug I bought this week is a bubba brand. It happened to be on sale and the price was comparable to that of my former, plus it can hold up to 18 ounces of hot or cold liquids. What stands out most aside from the width and depth of the mug it has a sip snap top lid versus the twist around sip cover on my old mug. It's also pink and stainless steel. 

Can I say that I'm over the top impressed with this mug? YES I CAN!!! 

I threw it on the ground with coffee inside just to test its durability and my goodness this baby is rough and tough. Not one little drop of coffee spilled out nor did the sip snap unsnap as I thought it might. Call me crazy for risking damaging my brand new mug, but I was curious. I wanted to know if I could rely on it to hold every drop of my liquid if I accidentally dropped it or knocked it over in the future. 

Will my new bubba mug now become my favorite? Probably. 

Both mugs are priced  higher than I wish to pay, however, that seems to be the case for my high quality preferences. 

I'd rather pay one hefty price once than spend cheap repetitively which results in overspending on the same product that causes me to have an attitude of dissatisfaction towards the entire brand or store where I purchased.
